« La Sieste de Mei et Totoro en tapisserie d'Aubusson »
Saturday 5 April, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Discover the preparatory work ahead of the launch of the monumental tapestry “Mei and Totoro’s Nap”, based on a scene from Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film My Neighbour Totoro. This exceptional event offers a unique opportunity to meet key figures behind the project: cartoonist and colour designer Delphine Mangeret, dyer Nadia Petkovic, and weaver Mayling Steiner, who created the preparatory samples. Also present will be the weaving team selected for this remarkable 31.5m² tapestry: Ateliers A2, Atelier Just’Lissières, and Atelier Aïko Konomi.
