Young laureates of the Fondation Gautier Capuçon, German-Spanish-Malaysian violinist Elias Moncado and Italian cellist Francesco Tamburini both have outstanding careers in their respective disciplines. Recognised by leading figures in the field as “among the greatest talents of their generation,” they come together for a concert in the stunning setting of the Nef des tentures, the vibrant heart of the Cité de la tapisserie in Aubusson.

Their programme, “Dialogues Dansés,” is a journey through different interpretations of dance — from celebration to melancholy, from freedom to sorrow, from grace to the grotesque. Dance becomes, in essence, a round table where time, movement, gravity and emotion all speak the same language, making it one of the most powerful and natural forms of artistic expression.
