Educational mediation for young audiences
The public services team at the Cité de la tapisserie offers a comprehensive programme of activities tailored to all educational levels and curricula, for teachers from kindergarten to higher education, as well as for organisers of school or extracurricular groups.

Proposed activities
The Educational Service of the Cité Internationale de la Tapisserie offers classes the opportunity to discover each year the new exhibition in the Nef des Tentures, its historical works, contemporary pieces, as well as major tapestries such as "Aubusson weaves Tolkien," "The Imaginary World of Hayao Miyazaki in Aubusson Tapestry," and "Tribute to George Sand." Visits and activities allow teachers to explore a wide range of themes with their students: mythology, the links between literature and tapestry, bestiaries, ecology, fauna and flora, the use of natural materials in tapestry, etc. The organization of activities in the museum allows students to (re)discover Aubusson-Felletin tapestry, its many skills, and deepen themes studied in class.
