The museum space of the Cité internationale de la tapisserie celebrates the art of low-warp weaving, a craft practiced in the Aubusson-Felletin region for nearly six centuries. It offers an immersive journey through the history of this tradition, showcasing both ancient and contemporary works, as well as the exceptional skills involved in their creation.

La Cité internationale de la tapisserie à Aubusson, mène depuis une douzaine d’années, une politique de création, valorise ce savoir-faire classé Patrimoine culturel immatériel de l’humanité de l’Unesco et enrichit par la même occasion le Fonds contemporain des collections du musée.
